Our local iconic Hotel – The Marlin – as seen directly at the end of the jetty – has recently changed hands. Opening night was Friday 28th September.  We wish the new owners the best of luck in their new venture. The following is their latest Face Book post.

Today, a bunch of us got together with chainsaws, weedeaters, sprayers, brooms, loppers, rakes, rubbish bags, utes, a truck and set too and tidied up the foreshore from Ratcliffs Bay right round to the reserve on the other side of the Gamefish Club.  With so many hands at work...
